Not only is this book written well, but it is extremely helpful when it comes to cooking and or baking.
The ultimate quick, yet thorough, reference for bakers, with every metric conversion and ingredient substitution you could want, plus 18 recipes for basic, fail-proof cakes, frostings, and cookies–with variations that combine to make dozens of desserts.
Let me just say, this book is an absolute treasure. The recipes are great, the book is beautiful, and there is a ton of information to help you cook and bake.
Plus, the book itself is beautiful. It has quickly became one of my favorite books.
In the book there are different chapters separating different subjects. It’s all very informational. Typically, you’d think that books that have to do with cooking or baking only have recipes in them. But not this book. It has extra information that is extremely helpful, especially if your have a question on something. Practically any question you have, whether substitutes or measuring differences, there is an answer for.
All in all, I would give this book a six out of five. Because, it is literally that great.
So, if you have the opportunity to get this book, I most definitely recommend picking it up.
